I enjoy converting some black and white photos into black and white and would enjoy seeing yours also. Brandywine Falls Park, Ohio.

Always enjoy your work and Challenges. Here are a couple from a walk in the woods a couple of years ago.

They're goldfinches, aren't they? They used to have a similar feeder for them at the bird blind we go to in Peace Valley Park, but it seems to have been taken down...much to my disappointment! Very nice shots, Ney!

Thank you. Yes, they are goldfinches. This feeder was even busier today! It was basically ignored the first year I had it up. Now, I'm a regular at the feed store picking up thistle seed to keep it filled. I take our feeders in at night to keep the raccoons out of them.

Thank you for looking John. Right now four feeders are occupied and the "bushy tailed" ground crew is on the job also.

I think it's very nice that you feed the little buggers. Finding things to eat in the winter is not always easy.

So true Mike. The ground is covered with a foot plus of snow this morning and the feeders are even more crowded than when I took these shots.

Great images Mom! I like all of them. Here is one from summer past. (12-14 inches of snow forecasted over the weekend; so I think summer is officially over.)

Thank you John. I like your "writing" quotation. If only we could all speak in the same manner.

Traditions-
It is our tradition to hang this Swedish wooden star in our front window for Christmas. Turned out all the room lights and took some shots. All hand held.

First- ISO 1600, f/5.1, 1/8 sec
Second- ISO 3200, f/3.2, 1/15 sec
Third- ISO 800, f3.2, 1/8 sec

P9 - Welcome and I especially like sunrise through the Maple.

Thank you. I think the neighbors are getting used to me out there at sunrise in my pj's, robe and rubber boots with a camera in hand. Even if they're not I'm having fun and starting my day on a positive note.

Thank you. Trying to get a reasonably "good" focus through the branches as the subject moved around required multiple shots. I think this one works best for me.
