Thanks to everyone for the comments. I gave up on, actually I got bored with, making things look natural or how they "should" look. Now I try to make them look like I want them to look. I enjoy the process and I generally enjoy the results.
Tina Turner once said, "I never do anything nice and easy." Well, I never tone it down...even though at times I guess I should.

Great shot. Really crisp.
The Antelope Canyon photo is great. Never were there so many great shots in so short a distance as in Antelope Canyon. Anyone who is ever near Page, Arizona needs to see Antelope.. It's pricey but well worth it.
Thanks to all of you. I'm trying to develop my own technique.

Nice! I really like "painterly" photos.
I need to be able to shoot square format on my Canon Eos Rebel SL2. It seems that every other SL2 except mine has a fix viewing screen...mine has a fold out rotatable screen. It also seems that the menu info is slightly different. I simply cannot figure out if I can shoot square...or how to do it. All the videos on Youtube that show how to adjust the SL2 have the fixed screen and in the settings there is a square format. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks.
