Can someone tell me why many real estate pictures are so distorted? As an example a picture that shows a microwave oven, range or TV will show that it is much wider than what you know it to be. My thought is that they are using a very wide angle lens. I believe it is very bad practice to do this. There must be some type of compromise that the photographer could use.

A non zoom fixed 28mm does a great job and it is very simple to stitch two shots together in LR. Zoom lenses are always a compromise.

Switch to Leica. Only one incredible lens does it all.

FYI...Sony makes the sensors for most modern cameras including Nikon. If you skip the zooms and just get a couple of prime lens it won't cost much. Otherwise go to the Fuji medium format camera line for a few bucks more.

One of the reasons I use Sony is the Zeiss prime selection. How do they compare. I have the 24/2 and 85/1.8.

Try stock photography. I just sold a landscape on Adobe Stock for 99 cents.

Easy to answer....Every manufacturer is going full frame mirrorless. They have gotten pretty cheap to pretty expensive. Since Sony make all the sensors I am a Sony guy with Zeiss prime
lenses.

Go get a Sony mirrorless with Zeiss lenses made for them. The Sony 50 2.8 macro is great and also.

I love my 24mm f1.8 Zeiss prime lens. The Nikon lenses are probably comparable.

An electronic cable release and a prime lens (85mm Zeiss) at a lower ISO with a better background.....Good luck.

I live in a gated community in LA with a lot of dogs and cats. Their owners love their pets so I am going to try and generate some pet photo business. I shot these with a Sony 7RII and 24-70 Zeiss f4 lens with a strobe and soft box angled to the left side about 30 degrees and 6 feet away. Please tell me which shot you like best and why.
