Douglass,
I think you are right, it looks like leaf-footed bug.
Few insect images. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.
Thank you Douglass, Will check the box labeled (store original) in my future postings.
This is my field macro set-up. Canon 6D with Sigma 105mm macro lens on a CB Folding-S flash bracket (when folded it fits in my camera bag real easy), Canon 430 EX II speedlight with FotoDiox 6x8-inch diffuser, Joby ballhead, Neewer E-TTL off-camera flash cord.
Information on speedlight/flash bracket and ballhead. All the links for the brackets are for the same manufacture”Custom Brackets”, it is made in USA and the bracket is very well made.
1) This bracket will fit a DSLR camera body without the battery grip. First link is for Amazon and the second is for B&H photo and the third is Custom Brackets websites.

3) In addition to bracket there is a need for small ballhead to make the bracket more versataile. I use Joby ballhead in my set- up but any small ballhead will do. Please check following links for more options

Here are few more. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.
Thank you Gym.
When I capture macro images like stationary subjects I use manual focus and AI-Servo (this is a Canon setting, I believe it is called AF-C for Nikon cameras) for moving subjects like bees or some butterflies.

Was image #2 captured in subdued, available (sun)light?
Thank you Douglass. Yes Image #2 was captured available light, but not in direct sunlight. Also thank you for a reminder, will definitely try that.
Thank you for your comment tinusbum, I like this lens also it is a very sharp lens, it just tends to be a little slow to focus sometime.
Trying to get back into macro-photography, haven't done any macro shots for a while. Trying out my new Sigma 105mm macro lens on a Canon 6D.
Comments and suggestions are always welcome.
