Blackest; Thank you for posting this answer. I haven't considered using RAW at this point, but your images got me to wondering what I could have done to several old shots taken. Again, thank you!
Hanalei Bay! I got married there. It was gorgeous!
I've got 4 dogs, 1 kitty, and 4 horses. Love is busy!
Join the club! Window washing duty is the pits! I'd rather do almost any other chore!
Your lovely kitty is gorgeous, and who sees the windows when he's around? Certainly not I!

I love all the colors with the monarch shot. I recently went to a butterfly house that was in an amusement park of all places. It was my favorite attraction there though so humid I could hardly stand it! There were monarchs, of course, but also some from S. America that were stunning. Wish I had brought my camera.
I love the second shot! Beautiful colors. I wish I had fall colors like that where I live.
You just put a smile on my lips and uplifted my heart. Thank you!
I had a friend that had these near her patio. Hers were white. I never knew they were poisonous. Thanks for sharing!
I love dragonflies and you've captured then beautifully! Thanks so much for sharing.
First of all, I'm not a pro. I'm just a woman who enjoys making beautiful pics, and I have to say that Tony and Chelsea have helped me take better shots, given me different ways to "LOOK" at subjects etc... I own two of his books, "Stunning..." and the Buying Guide. One thing we must remember, is that people (all people) have opinions. Their opinions are their own. That doesn't make them irrelevant, but it doesn't make them the "Gods" either. Take their experience and weigh it against yours. He knows a helluva lot more than I know about photography. They're making a living at it. I applaud the fact that they are willing to share their experience at a very low price. Coming from 23 yrs of painting porcelain, and 8 yrs of blowing glass, nothing is FREE, but Tony & Chelsea at least make having a bit more knowledge affordable.
Like CathyAnn, I too purchased the D5500 after watching Tony's review. I really like my camera, and am glad I ran across his video.
I'm going to go through it, 😊. Thank you for posting!
I know that tattoos are in, but as for me (in my 50's), I don't think I'll ever get one. It's too much of a commitment! That thing will go with you to the grave, and I don't know of any subject matter that I would want to mark myself permanently with. I love faeries, dragons, peacocks, and especially mermaids, but the thought of having one permanently just turns me off.
Oh, and there's nothing I hate more than dating a guy with some other woman's name tattooed on him.
