I camped for a week in Stressa while in Medical school, beautiful city and lake Maggiore was just wonderful
During August the German tiurisists flood the town.
Italians, Germans and Americans were so very welcoming. We camped there about aweek in summer of1976.
Wish zi was there now.
Do u know the story of the how any why Tortellii which was invented there and why??

Do u use post processing, I’m very new to this... luckily I have Egrets in. Backyard, small lake along with geese , swans and Ospreysand, I’m on Long Island, ny.
Just have to learn how to capture the moment.

Question:
A computer devoted to photography and post processing should be a desk top?
What size monitor, how much ram, memory etc.
I ask this cause lap tops would be more difficult to calibrate, depending on where it’s used?
I’m not a pro at all, just retired and getting back into photography, esp BIF and Wildlife, very new to post processing!!
All so different from film.
So, if I went with Apple desktop, which one and what specs?

Just beautiful...have to ask, what camera, lense, tripod and head, and settings? Just getting into Birding and want to start off on the right foot; certainly realize it is about knowing your subject, composition, time of day etc... but yes equip helps.
Alaska has always been on my "Bucket List". This just reinforces that goal! Simply beautiful!!
Any info on the trip, a photo group or did it on your own? Appreciate any hints to make it happen.

Just starting wildlife photography and I couldn’t think of a better way you capture their better moments.
If u can, what zoo are those photos from?
Do they allow cameras with long telephoto? Certainly all are closed with “ social distancing”
Are there better times to photograph, kind of like and hour after sunrise and before sunset... are the zoos closed at those times?
Are good times when they are being fed?
New to this, appreciate the beginners’ questions.
