I have a Canon 5D Mark ii with the 24-105L lens and wonder if it makes sense to get a 2X extender for my trip to Spain. I also have an older Canon 75-300 lens but don't want to carry both. Concerned about quality with the extender and also whether a good one exists that fits my camera. (Thanks, Canon...) Also considered a used Canon 55-200, but Rockwell said that my camera couldn't handle the color problems.
Appreciate your help and snark,
Bill from Somerville MA (long time lurker)

I was in Spain and Portugal a few months ago. My 24-200 mm lens was all I used while having a 90-300 as well. This is Olympus equipment. I used to use much heavier Nikon. Don’t be burdened with heavy camera equipment and put a damper on the trip. Take your 24-105 and be happy. No TC. IMHO

A photography friend of mine made these for me since I'm not much with a computer except editing.

Which do you like?

#1 and #4.
Nice of your friend to design these. Good luck with your decision.

I shot this in Bulb mode during the Blue Hour. I held the shutter open for 16 seconds. I balanced myself on the rolling gate and there was opening there was an opening that I was able to get the Camera Lens through. It was bitter cold being on the Ocean.

Really nice capture. I love shooting that lighthouse.

I am a Photographer, I do not care, and my cameras are not listed. And again, I could care less.

B R A V O!!! Love your response. My equipment isn't listed either and I do quite well with what I have.

Cleaning out the camera closet and found these caps...some were brand new in their packages and some were gently used if at all. No longer using Nikon. Always good to have spare caps, especially when traveling. There is one 72mm and two 77mm front caps and 7 rear caps (2x LF-4 and 5xLF-N1 or BXA). All covers are Nikon. Also included is one unopened monitor cover.

Asking $45.00 for all. I will pay for shipping to CONUS and asking for payment by check. Items ship when the check clears.

DM with any questions. Thanks for looking.

I use an over-one-shoulder sling bag for my MFT gear: camera, 4 lenses, flash, shutter remote, spare batteries & memory and a cleaning kit.

Which bag and model do you use? I have MFT and would love a good sling bag to carry more than a camera and two small lenses.
