Thank you. The lighting was a little dull, so I punched up the colors a tad. My trip this summer included time in Munich, Venice, Ravenna, and Innsbruck. Spectacular opportunities.

I think they were restored in the late 70s. These are the originals, and the replicas are now outside above the main entrance to the Basilica. The collars on their necks were added at some point to cover the scars from having their heads removed for transport.

Been away for a while, recently in Venice. Found these bronze sculptures on the top floor of the Basilica San Marco.

Those are very good photos! I would like a little more light on the gorillas' eyes, but consider that a quibble. Good work!
