Hi,
My name is Renee. Back in the day photography was my life. I shot with a Cannon and Pentax 2 3/4, and in my studio I used a great old 4X5 using polaroid film packs that rendered amazing negatives. I had a studio in San Francisco for a few years but I could not afford to keep it going. I lost my passion for photography and felt like I couldn't continue to spend ten hours at a time in my darkroom (even though I found the printing process magical).

So now I am back on track with the passion and will begin learning about photographing without film. I bought a Nikon D3100 14.2 and am eager for it to arrive and a telephoto lens so I will begin taking photographs again. I shoot people confronting the camera but now I will be trying some unusual baby photos and continue with children.

I am so glad that an old friend introduced me to this site. I find it inspiring, educational, and supportive.
