I also shoot Canon. I shoot a considerable amount of sporting events. Soccer is one of them. I use a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS lens with the Extender 2xIII. Great combination with my full frame camera. For your 60D the 1.4 extender should work very well. On overcast days you will find yourself shooting at anywhere from ISO 400-800.
I shoot aperture priority making sure my shutter speed doesn't drop below 1/500th of a second. Keep up the good work.

I have a 55-250 IS I am not sure an extender is compatable with this...is it?

They are amazing! Colors are great in my opinion!!. The second with the horses is perfect.

The first is great, but more would be better, would like to see more of the surrounding area, providing it doesnt distract from the main subject

Eagle,

Love the tractor photos. I went to an antique tractor show and pull near Asheville NC last Saturday. Great old tractors and a lot of good pulling action.

I'm not usually a fan of vignetting, but I think it works with your Sepia tone.

Keep up the good work!

Eric

Thanks Eric!!

I am Eric too!

These look like day shots? I thought you were shooting a night game. :?

No I said low light. It was supposed to be overcast, dark and rainy. The first half was sunny, and then the sun went down behind the mountain. The last part of the game was going on 6pm and almost dark.

We live in the country and none of our feilds are lit at night

I would like to learn Photoshop and have PSE 7. I haven't started learning to use it and wondered if I should upgrade to 10 first so I won't have to relearn. Also, what is the difference bewteen PSE 10 and Premiere?

I went from PSE8 to PSE10. 10 is by far the best and the easiest to use in my opinion. If you get yours through Adobe they have a lot of info there. 10 also has some great affects that can be accheived with a couple clicks as opposed to several on the older versions.

Google is your friend :)

I do beleive that Premeire is more for video as opposed to stills. At least that was my take. I couldn't find any reason that I needed the Premeire over 10
