I hope I can figure out all the technical terms and how to use this site! I am looking to upload photos now!!

I am new to the group. I am interested in learning more about taking great pictures and love the site. I have a Nikon D50 that I have taken basic pictures with for the past 4-5 years and do not really know anything about ISO or fps..... I just got out the manual and figured this site would be a great help too!
