I was hoping for more birds since it’s migration time. I have to get out earlier in the day before the birds get a chance to move on 🤔 ~ Rich
Great photos. Thanks for sharing.
Very creative.
The earth is flat…the earth is round. I’m confused!

Looks like a female red-winged blackbird.
Thanks for viewing and the thumbs up.

Nice set. Looks good. Bet that eye detect will pick up your keepers percentage in the tight crowded spots like shown here. Hope you get great results with the in-flight.
I hope so. Practice, practice and more practice. It does a good job of detecting a bird when it’s hiding behind a bunch of branches, so in that case I’m hoping my keeper rate increases.

Looks like it does very well. Enjoy!
Thanks, I’m getting use to how it responds.
I would stick with the SD card. The adapter with the micro card installed might be a bit too tall for the memory slot door to close properly plus now you have two contact points to deal with.
They have the new SD Extreme cards that are considerably faster, especially for video recording.
The verdict is not out yet on the Fujifilm X-H2 I purchased a couple of weeks ago. It has taken me a few days getting use to the change compared to my X-T4. I'm getting there. I spent some time in the backyard today testing the Subject Detect feature built into the camera. I had configured one of the Custom Settings C1 for Bird detection. It appears to work fairly well using single point focus. It picks up the subject quite quickly and looks for an eye to lock on to. Even though I had it programmed for birds it will still search for an eye as you can see with the squirrel and rabbit. Photos shot with the Fujifilm 100-400mm lens, ISO from 800 - 6400 (rabbit). These cameras just keep getting better! My next test will be birds in flight.
