You are absolutely correct on the insurance.
I am a member of DAN, primarily a medical support group offering insurance and medical assistance to doctors in case of a diving accident . Dan also offers the best equipment insurance available to divers. If you are a diver you should check them out.

I used live view and manual mode.
Focusing is the hard thing, it is hard to see that little screen when you are moving around in the surge.
I started with Nikonos cameras and film - remember film?
Digital offers so many possibilities with unlimited numbers of pictures.
The 60mm macro and the 105mm macro lens are the two choices. The 60 is super sharp!
I use a Tokina 11 to 16mm for the wide angle along with a large dome port.
I would like to start a new thread as you suggested, I have experience to offer.
How do you start a new thread?

Please check out the GoPro pix.
I know it doesn't really count as a great camera but it is amazing and the places it can go??
I have just received the new flat port housing from Eye of Mine.
I am taking it to a couple of cenotes tomorrow and may post something ( vids) tomorrow nite.
If you are on the cutting edge of photography, you must consider this.
Getting this housing delivered here in Mexico was a fete of magic?
I really appreciate the feedback on these photos.
