Good words KTJ! We were created by Him and for Him, His t***h is written on our hearts it doesn't come from culture, He gave us free will to choose, if you choose your own way instead of His, He will not force you into an eternity with Him, separation from Him is by our choice. God will always in some ways be a mystery to us but by seeking to know Him is a good step into looking behind the veil. Best wishes to all and Merry Christmas!

I owned a 28-135 for about 10 years and used it extensively, the AF stopped working and was repaired by Mr Riggins whom I learned about on this site, I was excited to get the lens back, during the time the 28-135 was down I picked up a used Canon 24-70 2.8, I used both at an event and was shocked at the differences in the lenses between F4-5.6. I did a cursory test and found I had to stop down the 28-135 to F11 to compare with F4 on the 24-70. Of course the L lens was better, hand held w/o IS, this wasn’t a scientific comparison just my personal experience but I sold the 28-135. Get a newer 24-105 or equivalent you won’t regret it.

I love my 80D as well, for hiking and kayaking it is light weight and functions well. I purchased the Sigma because at the time it was somewhat better than Canons 24-105 offering. Maybe a newer EF or even the RF 24-105 is in my future.

Thanks for your reply, my backup is an 80D with 3 EF-S lenses, I really don’t want to sell it but it’s so unpredictable I may have to look at other options.

Thanks, the camera is updated and I have searched online for similar problems with no luck yet. Perhaps I should sell the Sigma Then I nave to sell those 82 mm filters!

I have a Canon R6 with all EF mount lenses and use a Canon RF to EF adapter. My Sigma 24-105 F4 frequently causes the camera to display an error code for lack of communications with the lens. I have cleaned all the contacts on the camera, lens and adapter many times with varying degrees of success. I have restarted the camera and removed the battery again with some success. A second issue with this lens is inaccurate exposures, the EVF shows a correct exposure but the image is 2-3 stops over exposed, I can dial down the exposure which takes 1 or 2 additional shots to achieve a good image. I have 6 additional Canon EF and EF-S lenses all of which function normally, I would appreciate any thoughts you may have to help remedy this problem.

I reformat every time after downloading. I have some Lexar CF cards that are, my goodness, 10 years old.

Good News ! As I was browsing for a new card I found that Sandisk provides file recovery software, I downloaded Rescue Pro Deluxe using the coupon still in the box and an hour later all photo files were restored, unfortunately the video files may be lost but many thanks to Sandisk!

Hello Hoggers ,this is the first time I've needed your help, I placed my SD card in the reader and it appeared in 2 places in file explorer, I opened the first and it opened normally so I copied them to a folder and opened them in DPP4 , all but the first file could not be imported, I put the card back in the camera and none of the files would display, though I had seen at least half of the files on my LCD yesterday, my camera is a 6D with Sandisk 32 gb Extreme Pro.Any suggestion on recovering or repairing these files ?
