Taken in 2012 , in a time when I had a very rough time in my life. It is a tribal inspired Koi fish , going from my left chest down and ending on my lower back. The eye is my nipple :)
It was drawn by a dear friend of mine who is not with us anymore.

I have the 50mm 1.4 Art on my ff D750 and I absolutely love it. Lack of VR has never been an issues for me. The times I am concerned about not having VR has to be under long exposure. But then again , what would VR help with in a 2 seconds and above exposure.

VR or not , that has been covered here on UHH in several threads.

no wonder they complain about the sound quality when talking on the phone. It seems they dont use the smartphone for it's primary function. cause every test on new phones is the camera. Go figure...

Not sure what the best advice it would be, but if you wanna start fresh, I would suggest formatting the harddrive first.
If you have not heard the latest news , CCleaner had a major infection, and the advice to get clean is actually formatting the drive.

I understood they replace it with a new one, not reset. I would not mind to have a new shutter on mine :) even I only have 30k clicks.

I own a 50mm 1.4 Art and I my friend use this https://www.sigmaphoto.com/sigma-usb-dock to fine tune mine.
I gave it a try to fine tune it in camera, but it was time consuming and did not have the same adjustment range as the dock had. While I was impressed with the sharpness out of the box, I noticed I was missing focus on the eyes, a lot. And got me questioning how I am missing this often. That's how I discovered it was front focusing and needed adjusting.
USB dock makes it easier and faster then in-camera option.

Wow, I really hope my D750 will get the same treatment here in Europe as well.
Did also returned it cause of the recall this year. So far been waiting 4 weeks and yesterday they told I must wait a couple of weeks more. Something about that there is a lot of people who are returning D750 in behalf of this recall so they have a lot to do. My D750 is in Estonia :D

Also I complained a little about the spots I keep getting in exact same area/spot on the senzor which I suspect to be the old problem with oil from shutter.

So I am waiting very excited to see if mine going to get the same treatment.

So far I can send a thumbs up to Nikon that agreed to lend me D810 for next week when I am in really need for a camera.
Initial I was told it will take 2-3 weeks.
