I too use OpTech straps and love them--very comfortable. I even have the straps that hook onto my backpack so my camera hangs from the backpack straps and my hands are free to us hiking poles. Highly recommend!!

We were there in 2016 & 2017--absolutely beautiful. Oxbow Bend, Mormon Row, Schwabacher's Landing, Moose-Wilson Road, Jenny Lake, Jackson Lake, several overlooks. Sunrise is a great time because the rising sun lights up the mountains! I spent a lot of time researching the area before we went. Sometimes other photographers you run into can be quite helpful too and will share other locations to shoot. Hope you have a great time, and be sure to share you photos with us!

Staying at Jenny Lake Lodge and Rust Parrot in mid-September. I have read a lot about photography opportunities on UHH and internet. Must admit I am overwhelmed by info.

Should I consider one of the excellent tours or a private guide? Or, can I do it myself?

If you suggest a guide or tour, do you have recommendations?

Recommendations for your favorite restaurants in Jackson?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have been using BBF for about a year now and I love it! I must admit that the first time I tried it, I gave up and went back to shutter button focus. I read more about it and decided to give it another try. It took me a few weeks to get used to it and now I use it all the time for wildlife photography and other action shots. I even got a great shot of my son's fiance jumping up in the air when he proposed! Give yourself some time to get used to it before you decide. Practice taking photos of birds in your yard until you get the hang of it.
