Nice shots. Always fun to see them take off with the splashes of water.

Otherwise I may be ponying up for 77mm B&W brass filter mounts.
Has anyone had positive experience with this B&W filter?

I ordered a slightly different B+W clear about 7 months ago and it lives on my 70-200 f/4 lens. Great product. Similar price. Nano coated.

Depending on the op’s circumstances, would not a set of contact lenses eliminate the issue?

Here's my contribution. Interesting subject-lines, some obvious, some not so much.

Can't believe how many lines have attracted my attention. Bet they've got you too!

A quote from Google... Lines serve to affect photographic composition in two ways. First, they serve to create a mood. Second, they lead the eye through the photograph. ... By leading the viewer's eye, they keep the viewer's attention focused on the image.

So here we go!

Unless there is a good filter in the vacuum exhaust air flow system, e.g., HEPA or near HEPA, you are only recycling the dust vacuumed up. Anyone with allergies, etc. will appreciate the clean exhaust coming out of a HEPA filtered vacuum cleaner. It will not result in recycled dust on everything after you just vacuumed. We have had Miele vacs for the past 17-18 years and have not had any significant issues. The HEPA replacement filter is around $70+ but it will result in a cleaner house. Just my opinion.
P.S. A good shop vac with a HEPA filter would be a good purchase as well.

I am looking for a new vacuum cleaner. I have had 2 Dyson's. Not worth the money (in my honest opinion), Elextrolux, Bissell, Hoover. I am tired of throwing my money away on disposable vacuum's. Everyone tells me that canister's are better than upright's for picking up dirt.
I went in to a local Sew & Vac shop in Rhode Island. The woman was trying to be helpful, but her 3 year old son spent the entire time knocking over vacuum's and boxes of filters. He was a terror and I couldn't focus on what she was saying. I wish I had my camera to take a before and after shot of the sales floor. It looked like Hurricane Irma and Jose hit the showroom.

Give Sirui tripods and ball heads a look. I got one about a year ago and have been happy with it. It will handle my FF and the zoom lenses I use. It is well built, seems very durable and has nice features, flexibility. 6 year USA warranty. I think it is money well spent.

I have been using PowerPhotos since iPhoto. I am satisfied with the program. Also, if you have multiple libraries, you can use it to merge libraries. It will take some time to go through all your photos and look at the ones chosen for deletion. I think it works best for images that have not been modified in a software program. It's not a program I use very often since I now try to eliminate duplicate pictures when I load a recent shoot on my computer.

I am looking for a new receiver. The one I have is an old Optimus (Radio Shack). I believe it was made by Pioneer? It still works well. I have 4-18" corner woofers and 2-12" rears of the same make and a brand new Polk center that I just replaced.
Here is my issue ... My CD changer has a 100 CD rack and is skipping. It is old like me. I would like to replace the changer as well as the receiver. It seems that they don't make 100 CD changers anymore, only 300 plus. No big deal.
My receiver is rated at 150 watts. It has old RCA hook ups and no HDMI connections. I am looking at a Yamaha receiver and a Sony CD changer .... feed back?

My history with Yamaha (A/V receiver and integrated amp-tuner) has been very good. I also have had good luck with mid range priced Sony ES series CD players. Get a receiver with comparable wattage you now have and a 5 disc turntable CD player. Should take care of you for years. Enjoy whatever you get. The improved sound of new electronics will give you GAS, and next you will need new speakers!

We were given a heads up to eat at the Hitching Post on our way down to SD. Well, we found it, but they were closed. All I got was this hurried picture of the sign. So disappointing. I would not have guessed there was all you have shown. Nice series.

Well, here are a couple I think might fit into the discussion. Neither picture has been modified and were found in nature. I find these kind of designs to be quite interesting, and as you watch them in process, ever changing; dependent on light and water.
