I think this is a very close relative to the one at the zoo. (I've seen both several times.) This one is at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. The one at the zoo is closer and more likely to throw feces when grumpy. They are both silverbacks. Magnificent animals!
I am very much into "playful pp" but I remember one tip from a few years ago: if you don't go far enough, people will just think it's a mistake.
With your hummingbird pic, the sky indicates a low angle of sun (near sunset or shortly after sunrise) and filtered by the clouds. The light shining directly on your subject is very bright and coming from behind you. As long as you're OK with that, then so am I Have fun!

I always use flash for hummingbirds. Helps "stop" the wings.
I have a D850 and a D7100. I love having one FX and one DX. I can put an FX lens on the D7100 (usually a Nikon 200-500) and get great range. I just bought a Sigma 24-105 which I keep on the D850. Both take very good photos. The biggest problem, if you’re not young, you’re pretty stationary. Pretty heavy.
