I need to leave the amateur ranks or be forever dependent on Auto.
Thanks. Yours was the most useful of all. Time to leave from rank amateur to learning amateur.
Using "Auto", all of my indoor shots and some PM shots outside have to be played with. Almost all need highlighting and a little fill light. The entire scene seems too dark and the back ground several feet distant is almost black. The central feature (usually a human) needs highlighting.
I am a rank amateur and had the same problem with the D 40 before I got a new D5200 body.
Is there some setting I am missing? Or do I need an accessory flash?
Thanks.
I started with Atari, I have converted to Apple 13 months ago. Love it but my PC programs are only slowly being matched by Apple's. Parallels works but I often feel I should have a PC laptop instead of Parallels and keep both a real PC and my Mac Air. Memory is a problem with lots of photos onthe Apple Laptop (Air Book).
