I'm new to this forum (forums in general) Hope I am doing this right. I've traveled the Oregon coast quite a lot in the past few years. I'm sure you will enjoy it. I would suggest traveling down the coast a little ways toward Cape Perpetua. Very ruggged coast, but nice views of the surf and a good set of wood steps to take you right down to rocks below. Often foggy, but worth the hike.
Right above Yachats, Oregon. Then go south a few miles and be sure to get Heceta Head Light, a nice beach with high rocks and surf. Enjoy your trip.
