Outstanding lens for Canon mount. I have been extremely happy with this bazooka but have moved up to a 60-600mm Sigma Sport to increase range. Deal includes: Original Shade, padded lens sleeve, lens cover, padded carrying case, B&W 105mm UV filter, Sigma Optimization PRO (with custom USB power/comm cable). This lens will work with the newer 1.4 Sigma teleconverter and autofocus works fine at around f8. I am asking $1000 (***NEW PRICE***) or best offer. I am local to the Maryland side of Washington, DC. If shipping is required, buyer pays for any shipping/insurance and item will need to be pre-paid with cashier's check, money order or some other form of verified electronic payment. Items will be shipped once funds are cleared. Did not get any interested parties so I am lowering the price. Full product name is: Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports Lens for Canon EF
Send me an email with any questions.

I purchased one and used it side-by-side with my 150-600mm Sigma Sport and the IQ was so close to identical, I could not tell the difference. Getting that low end back is great! I've had 2 versions of the 50-500mm Sigma and have found them to be ideal for Kayak based nature, BIF etc....albeit heavy...Moved to the 150-600mm for the additional reach, which I appreciated, but lamented the loss of the wider angles/macros the 50-500mm afforded. The 60-600mm gives me that back, works with the 1.4 teleconverter and is actually a little lighter and shorter. Not by much but I did notice it. Still experimenting with it, but so far I am extremely pleased.

****SOLD*****

Has some scratches from awkward storage but hardly used. I could never get the hang of the eye-2-hand coordination but some folks love it. Pen with full set of nibs and holder...even the original nib is hardly used. Docs and drivers available online. Works on every program I ever tested. Windows or Mac.
$125 or best offer...You pay shipping/insurance. Money order or wait till check clears.

SOLD - Canon Mount-I have been using my Sigma 150-600mm Sport and I am comfortable parting with this Optically Stabilized "Bigma". Very good to excellent shape with Zeikos 95mm UV filter, caps and shade. The mounting bracket looks very worn (moved from another lens), a spritz of flat black spray paint will fix that up. This had been my favorite for sports and wildlife until the 150-600mm Sport. Goes for $1300 to $1500 new, $700 to $1100 used. Will sell for $600 or best offer, shipping and insurance included in CONUS (Priority 2 day). No longer have the carry case. I will ship as soon as I have received a money order or certified check or when a personal check clears.

Very capable lens for my Canon 7DM2. I usually shoot with the Sigma 150-600mm Sport but that takes away close-ups and macro. Since I generally shoot from a kayak, I needed to bring a second lens that wasn't too big, gave me back the close-ups and macros and was a good match in sharpness and clarity to the rest of the kit. I have been very satisfied with this lens.

I have always found it pretty good. I do a lot of shooting from a kayak pre-dawn until about 11am of eagles, osprey and any other wildlife I can capture, often on overcast days and in the shadows. I have not use DxO some cannot offer a comparison. One thing I really like in CO1 is a fairly new feature for local adjustments. Use that quite a bit to lighten some shadow detail without impacting the better exposed pieces of the composition.

I use Capture One Pro and have for 10 years or so. I really like it and find that its improvements over the years have justified the cost of upgrades. I no longer use full-blown Photoshop for post but do use Elements when needed. Works well with a multi-monitor setup, nice workflow, pretty fast and loaded with tools. Only issue I would like to see addressed is the ability to EASILY support plug-ins, which would extend capabilities further. It does support plug-ins of a sort but is apparently completely different than other plug-in supporting tools. They do offer a 30 day trial.

I have had it for about a month, paired with the Canon 7D Mark II and I love it. Only complaint I have, and it is on use-case not performance, is the short end (150mm) is wider than I am used to...Previous lens for similar scenarios was a Bigma 50-500mm and the short end (50mm) on that allow some fairly "normal" shots...even some macro. On the new lens this is more difficult. But I will adapt. The focus is spot-on and autofocus very accurate. Heavier than heck, but so am I...so I will adjust. I shoot wildlife and nature from a kayak and in that scenario, this is the best lens I have ever had/used.

...and used on B&H for ~1149 without a UV filter...I thought 1100 was fair.
