He got out and a Screech Owl was in the road dazed. He took it to his house and nursed it for about a month until the owl let him know it was time to go. He took the owl outside and held out his hand with the bird in it. The owl looked back at him, fluffed his wings with his beak and flew off.

Yes they are! Closer to Daytona, hundreds gather before their migration south. It is amazing to see!

Thank you! I think it is because it is full frame so you get a little more light with it. I do love my D500 though and use that in FL (home) almost exclusively. Great for birds in flight!
