I am finally coming back to photography. I was doing it years ago but with life interrupting I could not afford to continue. I have been taking pictures recently with my iPhone and iPad and using my daughter's Nikon D3100. I got bitten by the bug!! I have been retired for 7 years and now have lots of free time to travel and can afford the D3100! I have a lot to learn and hope to get some great hints here! Thanks for reading this! PS my grand kids are my life!

I'm new at having a good camera that I can afford. I recently bought a Nikon D3100 with the standard lens Nikkor DX 18-55. These are two of the first pictures I took with them and I would appreciate comments. I'm really excited about this and plan to take more and more pictures. Thank you in advance.
