I am trying to find the easiest way to change the shutter speed to get the blurred waterfall photo, while in the field. The manual is not that easy to find topics in, so am needing some help here. Going to the park with 10 waterfalls tomorrow morning, and the fall colors are really coming out. HELP, Please.
Thanks Rick. You are right, it is very easy, but could not find info in manual, and we all know how much fun that is to locate somethings.
For some reason my single focus point is now way over to the left. How do I relocate it to the center of the screen??
How do I shift the single focus point back to the center?? For some reason it is now way over to the left side, on my D810
I recall that comment, but it was in the early '80s. I know, as I pulled one floppy drive out of my IBM, and installed a 750Mb hard drive. I thought I would never need it, but alas, the gigabit came into being, and now terabits. Oh, and of course you can have a 45Mb camera too now. My Nikon works fine for quick work on Picasa, and fine tuning on Photoshop. Worst is being able to send one photo at a time, unless I lower the Mpxl number.
I agree, having a cell phone camera is great for those quick situations you run across daily. But, I am not going to spend $800-1,000 for a cell phone. I use the phone to talk, and text, and not emails, or internet crap. The camera is there for quick photo opportunities when I don't have my Nikon DSLR.
Just an awesome photo. Beautiful owls, and great detail.
Just beware, the pixels are not there for large prints, or for severe cropping.
I use Picasa for a quick shot like cropping, etc. Then use Photoshop Elements for fine tuning. Not hard to learn, and does an excellent job.
Always looking for a good reason to drink.
A cell phone is handy to have to capture a fleeting moment, knowing its limitations. Great snapshot device. Even with all the advances being done, like on the iPhone 10, they are no match for a DSLR.
