I use the 1,4 Teleconverter on my 100-400 and love it. I notice no fall off in sharpness or ability to auto focus. Here’s a pic I took with it 3 days ago. The Eagle was 50 yards away. Used my Fuji XT-3 on a tripod and of course cropped heavily.

Wow, great shot. That convinces me to get one.

Thinking about getting the 1.4x teleconverter to use for both the 100-400mm lens and the 80mm macro lens.
I'm especially interested in the results for the 80mm macro lens, but also wondering about the 100-400mm lens.

Anyone in the “Macro-Group” shooting the FUJI 80mm Macro lens? If so, I would like to hear comments on that BEAST. Has it proven to be a “worthwhile investment? What are the pluses & minuses? THANKS. RJM

I didn't think it was worth paying that much for a macro lens, but after trying the 80mm lens, I was hooked. It's my favorite Fuji lens. I have the 60mm macro lens. The 80mm blows it away!

Right now, I am very happy with on1 2018 and then going to Topaz Studio to use my Topaz plug-ins.

ON1? $99 for a full blown, complete system with tutorials and the first upgrade, seems like a no brainer

Nobody would be looking for an alternative to Lightroom if it did not have some significant drawbacks. The first drawback is the perception that Adobe cares more about their profits than about their users.

Any product gets easier to use and understand the longer you use it. Changing to a different product involves getting used to something new. Adobe is counting on that.

well said.

Lightroom is easy to use and understand. The editing features are endless. Why go anywhere else.

Yes, I am beginning to believe that.

Does anyone use an alternative to Lightroom? I was thinking about Topaz Studio. Does anyone use Topaz Studio as a standalone? Do you just download your images to PICTURES on your computer's folder, then go from there?
What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

Thanks everyone! Miele is looking like the vacuum I may get. Is there a model number that you would recommend?

I've had a Miele canister for at least 15 years with zero issues (other than the bags are proprietary and relatively expensive). Solid as a rock and 2 additional filters besides the bag. I would buy another in an instant, but this one will probably last me the remainder of my life 😸.

My Hoover really sucks !! And I wouldn't trade it for anything else.
Friends have brought their vacs over to compare to my Hoover, and many of them returned theirs for one.

Mine is a 2000 model with the dirt finder option and can't say what the new ones are like, but I haven't heard of any complaints the ones my friends got.

I have a rainbow and I love it! I have a lot of allergies and since the dirt you pick up, with a few exceptions, like powder or other non soluble compounds, is filtered through the water, my house is cleaner and the dust factor is down!!! What sold me on the rainbow was when the sales person vacuumed my mattress that I always have a cover protector on!!! Ck it out!!! Good luck!
