It occurs to me that practicing simple hygiene would eliminate the need for these products.
For the second time in a month, I ordered a canvas print from Easy Canvas Prints. When the order process was complete I noticed I was being charged for expedited shipping. I immediately sent an email protesting the charge.
After an exchange of emails, I learned I had inadvertently clicked on the wrong "button" and had indeed ordered expedited shipping which cost more than the ordered print. I was not happy.
After additional emails were exchanged, Easy Canvas Prints agreed to refund half of the expedited shipping charge. Obviously, they did not have to accomodate me yet they did.
I recommend their work as well as their customer relations.
If you birders check your Audubon, you will see this handsome fellow is a Wood Stork – only stork native to North America.
The photo was taken this morning. He (hope that’s the right pronoun) visited about a month ago and now has returned.
Is it a coincidence that his arrival is on the eve of the Nativity? I think not!
I seldom weigh in here. But the comments provoked me. I had the privilege of skippering a 50' sailboat for many years throughout the Carribean. We encountered many a cruise ship but avoided them at every opportunity. Generally speaking, the passengers seem to regard the natives as curiosities rather than fellow human beings. Yes, the passengers brought revenue to the islands which desperately need it. But that was the extent of their contribution.
None of us can resist the Blue Angels.
In this case, I happened to get the rising quarter moon as a backdrop during their performance at Jacksonville Beach yesterday.
Nice composition!
It was refreshing to see flower photos taken from an angle rather than "front & center". To my eye, these shots provide a realistic view. My eye never views a blossom "front & centered". I usually experience it at an angle.
Again, nice composition.
Once saw a sign posted on a rural mailbox, "Free zucchini with each kitten."
Did this in 2017.
At the end of the cars are platforms where you can hang out and take photos of the passing scenery. The closer you get to Banff the better the photo ops become. We rented a car in Banff and drove to Lake Louise and then on to Jasper. Spectacular photo ops from Banff to Jasper.
You will have a great time!!
Saw this exhibit about a month ago - superb!
