The best —also Red Garland—we get requests —a great OP album and also when he plays with Ray Brown. One of my favorite jazz albums is Art Pepper meets the rhythm section. Oscar Peterson is just incredible to watch—-thanks Rich

Hi Everyone,

My wobbly tripod finally broke, i will say "yeah" as I need a good light weight one that can hold a camera with a 500mm lens. I like photographing birds and sports. Any suggestions?

I decided a number of years ago to spend more on a tripod and ball head then I would have ever considered years before. Bought RRS made in the USA because I wanted to support a company here and not happy with so much made in China. I just rationalized spending 10 dollars a month over 10 years as opposed to 5 dollars a month! Never looked back and smile every time I use the tripod and ballhead. Rich

As George Carlin said —“why do they say get on the airplane-I want to get in the airplane!”My best explanation of education and the loss of proper language is regression to the mean—the dumbing of America.

God bless you and your co-workers. Good info, some of which seems to differ from previous reports that stated that the death rate of patients that were placed on a ventilator was about 50/50, a little higher percentage of deaths for males than females.
I have hope for the lab testing of an anti-parasitic drug which is reported to kill covid completely in 48 hours. We shall have to wait and see.

The drug Ivermectin is what you alluded to —an anti parasitic studies only in vitro not in vivo. Rich,M.D. back to work tomorrow 🤪

Plaquenil is hydroxychloroquine. Reports of ACTEMRA working —blocks the IL-6 receptors. IL-6 is a pro inflammatory cytokines. This severe cytokine response damages the lungs and younger patients with hyperactive immune response explains why they can get so sick. Ct scan of the chest is diagnostic. Treating people earlier with Plaquenil and Zithromax may yield better outcomes. Once a person is sick enough to require ventilator support, mortality is high. Hopefully more treatment data will come out in the next few weeks. Everybody stay safe. Hopefully this clarifies a few things —very complex disaster. Rich,M.D.

Did you ever wonder why there is no cold vaccine? What happens if the young did have a problem and died. Remember early data said the 30 and 40 year olds were ok but they are not. While I understand your logic and brilliant engineers have had a wonderful impact on medicine this has no fail safe. Answer cold viruses mutate. This is not an easy situation hopefully an antiviral med, immunization etc will be developed.we are out of nasal swabs and using throat swabs much less accurate—need better and faster testing. Also go read or google about the arrested Harvard professor and the wuhan research facility. Needs to be more in mainstream news about it. Rich,M.D.

Where is Yogi when you need him? If you are a pro and you over process and someone likes it and buys it more power to you but if it is really bad you may not be successful for very long. The digital world has changed photography immensely. People did not fall to their deaths taking selfies and were not rude enough to walk in front of you while one was trying to photograph years ago. Btw glad to see you are back Linda. The digital world has allowed so many more to enjoy photography. —Rich
