I am lucky here in Kentucky, I get about 1min 45sec of totality. I am setting up just outside my garage door.

I'll probably set up in my front yard while getting about 90 seconds of totality. Don't want to be in any madhouse traffic just to get another 30 seconds or so. Just hope the weather cooperates !

I've sent On1 support several email requests and they were wonderful in responding, in full and in a reasonable time frame. I actually prefer emails because I always have a lot to do and I hate spending time holding on a phone. Apple's call-back system is excellent.

I use PhotoSync app on both the iPhone and iMac and it works fast and flawlessly. All you have to do is to make sure both apps are open at the same time (iMac and iPhone), select the photos you want to transfer, hit the send button, and the photos go to the selected choice. PhotoSync is also free, which is the best part. I use it to send photos between iPhones, iPads, and iMacs. Give it a try because it really is fast and simple to use.

My first SLR was a Fujica. Next, I bought a Nikon FG. I then bought a Nikon D3300 because I could use my prior 3 lenses with it albeit manually.

I would suggest On1 - very easy to use, lots of adjustable presets - you can use them as is or customize them and save them as your own. The newest version reads and converts raw files. The full version usually costs $120, but is on sale for $100.

The other alternative, for about the same price, is the annual subscription to Photoshop and Lightroom, which is $10/mo.

There are other cheaper and free applications but none will produce the quality of the images you get with either recommendation. It all boils down to what your goals are and how much time you want to put into learning an application.

I've use On1's Perfect Effects for many years now, and currently own the 10.5 version. I intend to upgrade to On1 Raw when it comes out later this year. All that being said, I used On1 in a secondary role, as a plugin to LR and PS CC 2015.5. I believe On1 is seeking to become the LR/PS CC replacement and many folks are interested because of the possiblity that Adobe might up the price of the monthly subscription to a point where people might seriously think about dropping out. That is also why I keep current the latest version of PSP - I don't need to connect to my Adobe account online, and it will run ON1's software as a plugin, and I won't be stuck if I don't agree to the CC subscription rate hikes.

On1 has a first rate training team and will help you to learn their product. However, if your're used to offloading your camera's memory card to LR, there is a paradigm shift if you want to do the same thing in On1's Browser module. But, if it came to that, I would be perfectly willing to climb that learning curve if Adobe ever tries to shut me out.

ON1 10 is a great addition to Lightroom. It is easy to use and the there are great YouTube videos on how to master the software. You can use it as a plug-in to Lightroom or it can be used as a separate software for photo processing. I think it is so much easier to use than Photoshop.
