I am considering buying the Fuji GW690 with 90mm lens. Does it have a light meter, and if not, what is a good medium priced light meter?
After I asked you about the extender fitting on the Canon ef70-300 f/4-5.6L, I went to the Canon site and they say the extender will not work on this lens. I am interested if the extender will work but do not want to damage the lens
Will this work on a canon 70-300L?
I need a backpack that will hold a Canon 6D, a 70-300 f/4L lens, a Sigma 35 f1/4 and a Canon 50MM f2.5 macro, along with batteries and charger and hoods. I have a Amazonbasics bag and it is bulky to carry and uncomfortable.
my son has a canon 60d and wants a macro lens for photos of flowers and insects. i know the canon 100mm f/2.8l is generally highly regarded: would this be the best as a walk around on a crop sensor camera? any suggestions would be appreciated.

Canon 50 1.8 and canon 24-104 f/4l.
I need a telephoto for nature, gardens, and zoos. I have a canon 6d and am looking at a sigma 100-400 f5-6.3, a canon 70-200 f/4l (with 1.4 extender, a Canon EF 70-300 f4/5.6 is USM. I currently have a 50mm 1.8 and a 24-105 f4l. Any help will be appreciated.
thanks. your reply reflects what I have read about the ii version.
I just looked at canon refurbished site- the non DO lens I am looking at are the 70-300 f/4-5.6 is usm and the 70-300 f/4-5.6 is ii usm. the 70-300l IS is considerably more expensive.
I have narrowed down my choice of lens to a canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 is usm ($395 used) or a canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DO is usm ($418 used). I am 70, need is, shoot mostly zoos and botanical gardens, and have a canon 60d camera. appreciate any opinions.
is this still for sale? I have a 75-300 without is; will this lens be sharper? I am 70 so the is may help.
hope you can advise me. I am interested in getting back into a canon dslr (had a 60d). I am torn between a 50d used ($380) or a 60d refurb $575). my son has my 60d (with lenses) so I have several lenses to borrow. I shoot mostly zoo and garden shots in the bright sun (south fla). do you think the 50d is good enough for my purposes (hobbyist)? any advise or direction you can provide will be appreciated.

iam looking at canon refurbished, but might be interested in your camera. I had a 60d (which I gave to my son) so I have access to some lenses. were you happy with the results from the 50d?
I saw where you sold a k mount lens (28-300). do you have any other lenses you would be willing to sell. obviously=-i'm trying not to spend a lot of money. previously had a canon 60d, and a sony a6000, both of which my sons are using. the reach is what i'm looking for. sorry to be so much trouble.
I need more reach than the 70-use a lot at zoos and wildlife. i'm 70 so the size is a plus. what telephoto lens would you recommend for this camera?
