The Nikon N90 looking camera is actually a Kodak DCS 420. It is a 1.5mp with 2.6 crop factor according to an article on NikonWeb.com. It also cost $12,000 new.

I'm not sure about them but I picked them up for $30 a piece I figured I may be able to use the lense if nothing else. Thanks for your reply.

I stumbled across some older 35mm Nikon cameras that have some lenses on them so I got them. I was just wandering about these type of lenses if you all would suggest them or are they worth much? One is a (AF Aspherical LD 28-200mm 1:3.8-5.6 macro made in Japan) it says promaster near the outer end of the shaft. It was on a Nikon N65
The next one was on a Nikon N90 with a Kodak dcs420 thing on it. The lense is a (AF nikkor 24-50mm 1:3.3-4.5)
I haven't had a chance to play around with these yet. Thanks for your input! Have a great day😃
Note I took the pics of the lenses with my phone sorry the images are not to good.

I have recently bought a new camera and it came with several gadgets that I probably shouldn't try to use in one setting! lol I really love taking close up shots of nature in general but really flowers. I tried using a macro lens today and a regular lens but don't seem that I am getting the results I want. Could you offer some insight? Thank you
The attached pics were taken today with my NIKON 3200 18-55mm camera with the macro lens attached.

I was trying to capture the bees getting a snack, at one time there was 6 different species on this one flower.

Hi Brooke--you will like this site. The discussions are really helpful in gaining knowledge. I am a southern Hoosier and have always wanted to travel Kentucky. Welcome.

Thanks everyone! I have been out today enjoying the beautiful weather and snapped a few pics while I was out. I don't know if any of you have been to Southern KY but I live next to Cumberland Falls State Park. It is home to one the very few moon bows in the world. I hope to attend one of these sessions but today I was there to enjoy the natural beauty that is there. I attached a photo of a bridge just past the entrance. It is so pretty.

Nice pictures. We lived about 30 min from the Park entrance on the Cades Cove side of Gatlinburg from 1980-85. Went to the Cove several times. Beautiful scenery. I really would like to go back. Maybe in the fall when leaves turn or in the spring when the dogwoods are blooming. Very crowded at both times though.

It is crowded in this area all the time but during peak times like you said you can barely move around. Hope you get back there sometime. Thanks for stopping by to look.

My only advice is to keep your horizons level, the house looks as if it is ready to slid down a hill. Otherwise, I really like all three pictures.

Thanks! I was in a moving car, I told my husband the same thing, lol. It is so pretty there next time I go I'm going to walk along the car so I can ensure better pics.

Very nice. My experience with Pigeon Forge is limited to Dollywood. Isn't the Museum of appalachia near there? I've been there a few times.

Yes it's pretty close in Clinton TN.
