Thanks for your comments. I've noticed quite a few of my shots this year are quite busy. I'll dig out a few less busy shots and post them to see what people think. It's really nice to get some independent feedback from people who know nothing about me, so thank you both.
Thank you for your comments. The second one was about 10-15 minutes before sunrise on the first Sunday of February this year, so there was not an abundance of light, and I think the darkness in the picture is a pretty good representation of the ambient light at the time. I thought about lightening it up a bit, bit I think it would have detracted from thenaospheric nature of this photograpgh.
A few landscapes here, including ice on the Hudson and snow in Riverdale. I am interested to know what people think of them in general - good and bad and some advice on tips on composition, lighting and exposure, etc.
