Thanks JerrysPhotos... you are correct he was running toward me and away and everywhere. You put a toddler in a park never expect one to sit still!!! :)
Thanks everyone!
Yes I was hoping to catch some great ones so she will always be able to cherish them!
I'm greatful for all the advice that I have been given. I have a Nikon D3000. Never said I was a "professional" but yes one day I would like to consider myself. Everyone has to start somewhere in whatever career they may choose. Yes I did charge them but if its anyones business it was less then $50.00 and they get all the pictures on a disc so they may print what they wish. There are well over 400 pictures without the few that I had blur. Yes I feel comfortable changing around things on my camera and using manual settings. I did change the settings around during the shoot. He was running around and I knew that auto would not catch him so that is why I changed things. I am not on this site for people to bash me by any means. I have seen worse pictures as well as better pictures. As far as the comment about trying to say I'm a PROFESSIONAL.... I know that I am not you have been shooting pictures longer then I have been alive so maybe people should take into consideration of the things they say to people. This is why I joined this site was to ask for help and feedback on things. I can handle pos and neg but when you have to defend yourself by saying you don't want to sound harsh well maybe you should rethink what you are about to say.
I really do appreciate everyones advice and I didn't realize that asking for some "professional" help would turn into this mess.
Thanks again
I am adjusting the setting on the pictures, I am getting great shots but some are blurred. No one can say they have NEVER had a blurred shot before and if they do they are lying. I don't mean to sound harsh either just asked for a little advice on the few that I had that were blurred. I take everyones advice into account but this is something you have to learn on your own, but why not ask the help of others around. I took over 400 pictures of this family so charging them would be fair and if all were terrible then I would not have charged them.
I do want to say thanks for the advice from everyone!
Setting on this was:
1/200 F/4.8 ISO 200
Thanks for the advice.... sounds crazy but i'm scared to play with many button cause I don't want to mess anything up. I went back and forth from the "kid" mode and auto because he was running around so I could get a faster shutter speed but I'm just lucky I took 400 Pictures and got plenty of good ones but was frustrated of the bad ones.
1/30 f5.3 ISO 280 44mm
I hope this helps..
on this picture I used the AUTO mode
Thanks :(
I figured it was and some I might be able to save and make it look like "special effects" but some are a total loss.
Any ideas on how to avoid so many?

My daughter and our new addition
So I did a photoshoot for a family this past weekend and as I was shooting the pictures they looked "great" on the camera view but after I uploaded them, there were lots that were blurred. :(
Is there anything I can do with the pictures to make them look decent without just deleting them? They are of a 2 year old in the park and that was like pulling teeth for him to sit still. Any advice would be great!
Thanks everyone!The Modification is great
