Yes I do and will have to dig for them, Phu Yen has a nice beach some old, now government hotels, run down as most government hotels are but very pleasant to stay in.
Better yet, go a little further up the coast to Tuy Hòa. Nice town, actually an ideal place for retirement. It has everything your heart desires and is close to ....well...everywhere, Dalat and Nha Trang and Quy Nhon. I am getting home sick again. I may just come and spend a few months there on my way to the next continent. When I do I will stop in Pham Ngu Lao for a couple of weeks to gear up and then ride up the coast.

PS, if you can, make sure that you have gps data on your picturers. It was not available when I did all my driving around VN. Would be soooo nice to pinpoint locations later.

Hey Hey, I lived in Viet Nam for eight years, mostly in Sai Gon but also all over the country. I have many thousands of pictures but almost all taken with a little P&S. Still home sick for Sai Gon. I used to ride my motorbike all around Vietnam from Saigon to the very North and tp. Điện Biên Phủ and to the Mekong and everywhere in between. All by myself but never feeling lost or alone. Those were the days my friend I thought will never end. District 2 still looked like well....uh..district 2. It has changed a lot since those days!

looking at the pictures it is hard to tell at times or the P&S or the 60D was the weapon of choice. Picasa was used for a little PP. :lol:
