Here's my best of 500 :-D

Nikon D7100 / Nikon 70-200 f/2.8
PocketWizard Plus III's (for remote triggering)
Tripod
ISO 400, f/2.8, 2 seconds, 200mm @ 02:46:30 Central Time

Longer exposure times were blurred - didn't realize the moon moved as fast as it does!

Also, not real sure I'll stay up this late next time unless it's a weekend... dragggggging today!
Yeah I know what you mean,

This fella landed on top of a small tree I have in the back yard , he started screaming very loud and it got my attention, of course I got my camera as fast as I could and made several shots...
He noticed me , guess heard the clicking from the camera , turned toward me and his looks told me "what are you doing there "...
Great shots , but his look tells me "you got any food" lol lol

Stayed up late last night hoping to get a couple good shots, then the leg fell out of my tripod (that's what I get for buying a cheap one) Had to steady the last shots on the roof of my truck.

I'm really surprised at you UHH members for not showing us your MOON SHOTS!!!!!! This thread is your opportunity to share them with us. Please post your best moon shot, and or eclipse of the moon shot!
I'm attaching mine to start this off.
I always feel so small when I post a picture, couldn't get the tripod to cooperate last night so I had to hand held. but here goes nothing.

Thank you allsmiles, but did you see Erv's moon? Whether it's the post processing or the actual photo snapping, he's got a terrific moon shot and I'd like to be able to accomplish the same thing. But I really do thank you for your very kind comments.
I saw his shot and outside of being more what I call crisp, not much difference.

I've been in a creativity deep freeze. Just couldn't get my head out of the doldrums. But I'm trying to come out of hibernation.
Totally Awesome I love your style, Don't change anything on these two, they scream statements all by their selves. Well done.

Yep, I see that little...chipmunk? The tiger is beautiful and would make a wonderful portrait. (p.s. that is one large tiger paw!)
Thank you Im glad you liked it, its really hard to take pictures when your by your self with a 3 year old and a 5 year old , but I sure wouldn't trade the time we spent together for anything.

Took Grandkids to the zoo over the weekend and took this one, didn't realize till I looked closely that I took a picture of more than just the tiger, can you spot this very brave creature?
