tilde hurry up and get well,
you dont want to miss Christmas
Ok Jon,
They arrived today, thanks.
Instead of a cheque I will get $5 US and send it, it would cost a lot to get the cheque cashed....
Now I am scratching away my cobwebs to remember some transistor theory
x x x x x x
B C E = G K A ??? I have forgotten my anodes and cathodes... I dont think I need a relay, the TIP121 should handle the power for the electronic shutter.
thanks again, and Merry Christmas
Jim
best advice: read shoot evaluate, read shoot evaluate, read shoot evaluate, repeat, repeat, repeat!!!
best deal on books: second hand stores and thrift shops.....
I bought 10 good books for $15 - sure they were mainly written for film cameras but a camera is a camera - basicly, they all take pictures. Exposure theory, rules, composition remain the same. Spend $2 for a $40 book/ YES!!

wow i am impressed, a BULLET yes, in fact the back end of a .577 cal 550 gr. mini-ball as fired from an enfield musketoon..
A cigar if you figure this one out
the self adhesive velcro works great for me. In fact, I used white velcro onn the black cap, makes it easier to see if I forget and put it down or drop it.

HEY FOLKS WHATEVER WORKS FOR YOU
If any of you are like me you are forever looking for a lens cap after a shot....
Well I finally cured the problem, in fact I have 2 cures.
Since my camera straps have velcro on them for attaching security climbing harness - and - I almost always wear something with velcro on it - I attached a piece of self adhesive velcro to the lens cap. Now I just stick the cap to the strap or jacket, pants pocket flap or whatever, and there it is.
In warm weather I often wear a gadget vest or a flyfishing vest, each of these has a velcro patch on the left breast - ideal place to park a cap. Barring those, I attach a cord to the cap and the other end to the strap, it dangles in the way sometimes but I never lose it.
just remember to match positive and negative velcro, or it wont stick - like magnets - opposites attract!

yup I do, where can I send money (paypal?) email transfer? cheque? would take 2 if you have them -- always like a backup LOL and add postage......
the camera strap fits around the door handle for a set belt
Sorry, my USB ports quit again the pic didnt load...
As a freelance writer / journalist / photographer I get requests from numerous magazines for "filler" pieces and advertorials, with photos. Writing since 1974 it took many years to get to the point where editors call me with assignments. Pick a magazine, study their methods, find a new product that fits into their topic line, photograph it and write a shory blurb and submit it.
For example, take a gardening magazine, find a new product and write an ad for it.
Good luck,
Sparky
