If any water looks like milk you may be assured that it is in trend and in my humble opinion found nowhere in natural flowing or falling water. I hate this trend.

I got most of my help from Canon Forums and on line teaching. I just found this site. Once I get it figured out it appears that there is real good leadership here willing to help a serious student. I'm seventy five. That's my excuse and I am sticking to it.

My camera counter is approaching eight or nine thousand attempted captures. In my case only the last thousand really count. I used the hit or miss shot gun approach for lack of personal attempt to become a photographer for nearly a whole life. Just a few years ago I got serious and the results are pleasing and hopefully still improving.

Thanks..........I simply did not know what to do. The way the choices are listed I doubt I can limit the daily sending of the offensive daily repeated page.

Now I learn that any page I look at will trigger activity notification follow up. This explains my concern too. I lurk about the site therefore it is assumed I am interested.

I'll hang in for awhile. If I continue to dislike the heavy traffic I shall apparently need too opt out.

sinatraman..........This is typical of today's world. If the above is a response to my question you assume incorrectly that I know how to follow your instruction.

I remain helpless without a link or better instructions.

At least once a day my Ugly Hedgehog clogs up my Email and wastes my time trashing the daily spam. It is simple folks....if I want a contents subject I still have a Favorites Bar. How can I stop this nonsense without blocking the whole site?

Start with the basic included book. Set a play and get to know the critter goal.....like five or ten shots a day in all kinds of situations. Set your best up beside the best you can see here or elsewhere. Make it a personal game to figure out how others did what you are looking at.

My camera is showing me the eight thousand images count. At this juncture I am begining to be pleased with my work. Pleased but not satisified is a great place to be. Nothing can help you more than just plain get out there and shoot....plus a lot of "hows come" and "wonder how".

You will soon have a pretty nice camera to learn the basics on and go from there. A good game is to close your eyes and attempt to set up your camea for a mental target you have created.

Squirl033.........This just gets more intersting and nothing said to the present agrees with my original statement.....that was that copyrite was worthless for the aveage person. No average person can possibly stand the expense to win. Then the judge simply says now you can collect. Big deal, poor deal down right stinking deal. And very expensive to boot. Mickey can press charges and win and sometimes even collect. It's all about money....big money.

Squirl033..........a friend of mine discovered by accident that someone not only stole one of his images it is now a registered copyright in that persons name. Someone went to the trouble to do that even though most of the friends group did not think it was worth any attention. Really it is a big smile within the laughing matter of the friends group.

Mickey does get pissed off real quick. Copyright has money behind it in large company productions.

Every Tom, Dick and Harry has copyright on their images because they can now do it with little effort.

However that action in itself is worthless. In fact for most the cost of legal action totally stops most photographers from filing for action. One could not file action anyway if the images are not properly registered. Since the copyright government service may be light years behind completing the filing process the whole legal possible action is highly questionable.

The first bloody fact is that a case must be filed in the geographical and political area where the alleged wrong took place. A person that stole and reproduced a commercial video of mine did so in California. I live in Pennsylvania. End of case? Not quite....the person was an amateur and made justification when threatened with a fake legal looking letterhead. No real crook would have been fooled. This was the only case I was aware of in my lifetime. Why would I even think that copyright was of any real value to me. Just my opinion!

My college just gave me a field pass for a dandy football game. I will have full run of the track right behind the team areas to both end zones. This is the next best thing other than getting back in uniform.

My mobility scooter will go fifteen miles up to seven miles per hour. A high score game will use up about three quarters of a charge. In the past I have shot up to three or four hundred shots looking for 20 or so acceptable to publish and half a dozen excellent captures after post processing. Note the monopod ancored to the deck and using the steering wheel for stability. Works pretty good.

Thank you. I am now in the process of trying to wear out a Rebel XTi. That excites me because mentally I think I have to do that before upgrading to a 7D. LOL

Since it will not seemingly wear out I may have to have an attitude adjustment. I am beginning to think I really should maintain the Rebel as a second reasonably good backup camera.
