Great series! I like the composition and lighting. Very nicely done.
Thanks, I appreciate that you took the time to look and comment.
The colors and details on these are great Carol.
The 1st one is my favorite.
I have to agree what you said about photographers. I think we look at things a little differently than most people.
If my wife sees me with it, start up a Go Find Me Page.
Will be looking for your picture on milk cartons.
Nice capture. Like how you got the bird and the reflection of the sun in the boat windshield.
Nice job on these macros. The tree frogs is an excellent capture and I really like the reflections you got in the water drops.
Shooting macros is one of my favorite shooting modes. I usually shoot handheld with no image stabilization.
I use macro lenses and extension tubes.
Keep of the good work!
If anyone is serious about purchasing this system, I will send them pictures. If you don't believe my description of the items, that's your problem. I don't need the money, but I don't believe in charity either. I'll probably end up giving it away to my grand daughter as she is an avid photographer. If you want to see what this lens looks like, Google it. I also have no use for trollers.
Nobody is trying to be a troll. Most people selling items here post pics so people can see what the item looks like and the condition it is in.
If you don't want to post pics, you will not get much interest.
I was interested in your items, but with your attitude I don't want to deal with you.
You are doing great with your Grand Daughter Greg. The D90 is a great camera and I think it will not be hard for her to pick up on the things she can do with it.
I don't know what Bipod's problem is, but you know your grand daughter better than him, and know what she is capable of doing.
Kids nowadays are pretty smart and pick up on things very quickly. When it come to electronic devices they have no preconceived notions about them, so they learn how to work them by trial and error.
Will be looking forward to seeing some of her future images here.
Thanks for posting these. It looks very interesting to be able to build stone walls with no cement.
I have seen some walls similar to these around the country side here in the western part of Va.
I like them all Mike! Especially the 1st and last one.
You really did a great job at capturing the beautiful scenes in this state.
I didn't realize there would be so many apologists for a billion dollar company and so few for some poor slob who spent big bucks for something 8 or less years ago. Maybe some of you can spend a thou or two on this years camera whilst junking last years, but there are those of us who expect a little more. Do any of you work for Canon PR ???
Haven't you realized that we are now a throw away society.
Hardly anything is made to last anymore. And when something quits it is usually cheaper to replace it with a new one that it is to get it repaired.
When technology is moving as fast as it does now, it is not profitable for companies to support older products for a long period of time.
Instead of being on this forum whining about your failed 8 year old camera that can't be repaired, you should drop it and move on.
If you like this camera so much I'm sure you can find plenty of them on ebay for not much money.
One lesson I learned from life, is that things are not always going to be the way you want them to be.
You did great job of capturing the beautiful colors of this exhibit! And I like your composition of it too.
Nice one! Great composition and colors In this image.
Really nicely done! Love the lighting on the rocks and the way the Milky Way looks. A Wall hanger for sure.
Nice series Mike! I really like the colors and architecture of the buildings in these scenes.
