What would normally be a distraction has added some light elements to this composition which serve to highlight the bird, albeit in a most unusual configuration. I like it.

Sometimes you have to take the shot that you can get. I have the Colonial panels in my windows so there are bars everywhere, luckily not where the bunting was perched. Thanks for liking my unusual picture!

He's sooo pretty with all his colors, Squeeker! I've never seen one!

I am very happy to have at least two pairs in my neighborhood. These birds were hunted and trapped for the pet trade but it seems they are making a comeback!

This is the only picture I have. It was at the feeder the same time as a male Painted Bunting.

I think I found it. It appears to be an American Pipit.

We all know how some printer makers have a chip in their cartridges so that cheaper off-brand inks won't work. Well, it looks like that idea is catching on. The next generation of Keurig coffee machines will require Keurig coffee pods exclusively.

Unless I was totally in love with the coffee I would pass on purchasing the machine. Manufacturers will restrict themselves right out of the market.

Sorry guys if you are still covered with snow!
This is the morning I woke up to yesterday. I have at least 2 pairs of Painted Buntings coming to my feeder every day. The squirrels are a constant delight to watch, I have seen 5-6 at a time playing in the yard and trees.
