It really happened - I save the two wedding photos -
When I did every photo I had was encrypted -
I ask a pc pro if they could do a decrypt but he said no -
There was a place in India that said send them a decrypted photo
and the could do a decrypted for a fee -
that there was a special password on the internet that only they knew -
The p c doctor said not to trust them - Them could take my money and not fix it.
I was just letting you know so that it wouldn't happen to anyone else....

I got a set of these small flashlights for $24 a few days ago, but the price is creeping up. It's designed to operate on 3.7v AA batteries, but while I wait for those batteries to arrive, I inserted a 1.2v Eneloop. These things are bright! Pulling on the end shade changes it from a flood to a spot, and it can also act as a strobe. I have several little $2.00 plastic and aluminum lights, but these are in a class by themselves.

I have not taken any fog shots but am enjoying all of these. The only fog around here is in my brain and I can't figure out how to shoot it.

I think shooting fog is like shooting sunsets - You shoot many frames to get the right one.
These settings may not help you much but I shot these on a rainy day 112 mm - F 5/6 - 1/125 sec.

Linda, your image is a lovely setting that holds one's attention with the subtle balance of fog and light for a calming effect. The attached image is at a local waterfront marina. Usually, I will try to separate the foreground in a fog scene for a greater perspective. In this case I used a graduated filter in pp from the bottom up in combination with a bit of sharpening to reach that end.

Loving all the fog photo's. MW
