Sorry for being more specific...what I meant was that it is different than shooting product, landscape or people that can stand still. Bird photography takes a ton of time and patience waiting for those little buggers to land on a birdfeeder. It would be shooting birds eating, landing and flying around a products that we sell. It wouldn't be birds in flight. Thank you all for replying, its appreciated :-)
Morning All,
Not sure if this is the right "topic" page but I thought I'd start here. I am a photographer and work for a catalog company and I am looking for someone to photograph birds. It's a very specific kind of shooting and we simply don't have the time. Are there any bird photographers out there that would be interested in some work?
Thank you so much for this info. This exactly why I like this site!!
Thank you for the info, this is most helpful!!
I have a D7000 and what I am looking for is a zoom but only 17-35ish. I am flexible but the Nikon lens is very expensive and I was looking for an alternative.
Does anyone have experience with Sigma lenses? What are your thoughts?
I do shoot in camera raw and I wasn't sure if making adjustments in the Basic, Tone Curve, Detail...etc tabs do as good of a job in "Camera Raw" as it does in PS. I know PS is a much more powerful tool and has all kinds of tricks/magic but for basic manipulations I was sure. If I wanted to adjust the exposure, open shadows, get back some detail. What is the difference between the clarity slider and sharpening slider? Thanks again!
Good Morning,
Has anyone had any experience with using the software Camera Raw in Bridge to manipulate images. Is this about the same as using Photoshop? If not, what are the downsides? Any info will be most appreicated.
Happy shooting!
Cool shots but very disturbing. well done though!
Thank you for the nice comments y'all. Its always nice to hear that your work is appreciated every now and again :-)
These were taken after days of rain and everything looked so fresh!
Baby pine cones
White daisy
Do they still sell the D90? I heard the D7000 replaced that.
Good to know...I was leaning toward the D7000. Any cons?
Thank you for the great input, very helpful! So when you say large formate prints, how big are you referring? I don't think I would ever have something larger than a 16x20. Would the DX be enough?
BTW...is anyone a PS5 power user? I am looking from some advice on the Refine Edges feature.
So, is it logical to assume that the full frame would have more MegaPixels and therefore a better choice??? I am saving my pennies and will be in the market soon.
