Cute. I started waaaay back in the 1980's or so with an 8-bit Atari, then a PC, then several hardware platforms later I'm running Win8.1 on two SSHD laptops and Win7 on a desktop PC with 214 (according to my RevoUninstall program) available and installed program on my HDs. Not once - NOT ONCE - have I had a system trashed by a downloaded program. Bugs, yeah, a few, but they always got fixed by responsible vendors. And, oh, yeah, my download speeds on the only DSL available to me are on the order of 285Kb/s (that's K as in kilo). The cloud is nothing but vaporware that can and will evaporate as all clouds do. But perhaps you can keep it around - if you pay and pay and pay and ....
