Glad someone Finally mentioned HERTZ. Not sure about now but 20+ years ago much of Europe was 50 Hz. Makes a difference in motor speed and other things..
Oh ,something else. When measuring voltage are you measuring peak- to- peak or RMS.?
I'll have to take them down and adjust the time twice a year, but I will have the correct time on time. I will also replace the batteries then.[/quote]
Isn't that what you're doing about now? Resetting them twice a year?
Last few nights we have been interrupted by commercials. But they have only been 15-20 sec long. If that's a sample I may just leave it alone. Annoys my wife though, you know what that means. :-)
We show our card to an employee at the entrance when entering. And an employee checks our bags/boxes/purchases on the way out. The self-checkout registers have a blus stripe tape so the checkout employee has an alert. You could walk in the exit and hit the snack bar for a hot dog, pizza I guess. Not sure about that anymore as I don't think they accept cash.
A lot of Costco's prices and quality are better than grocery stores. A lot of their meat is better quality . And the rotis chicken, $6 for a big bird. Wife and I can get 4 meals off one.
Here's one I get lately. I order something, from different companies. A few days before the item arrives I get an e-mail from 'USPS', 'UPS', 'FEDEX' etc. advising me that the home address is incomplete. Go to the website and give them information to complete the delivery. Latest is an official looking page with a website of 'usps___.com Have not bit but how the heck do they know I've got something on order?? And it's not orders from the same company!
Just the other night we were watching a movie that mentioned Alexa. Immediately Alexa broke in 'ding ding' waiting for a question. The TV is 'talking ' to itself. LOL
Happened two nights ago. We were watching a movie, my wife went to stop it and somehow got out of it. When she located it again it was $5. !! Fortuntely I caught the remote before it hit the screen. :)
