I have recently purchased a Nikon Diaphot TMD microscope. This scope has a (Nikon, of course) bayonet mount on the front of it. I wonder if anyone out there has attached a Pentax camera to this microscope, and if so, what was the process? I have a Pentax K1 II camera. I have won the auction for the microscope but won't be able to pick it up until next week.
Thanks everyone!
Has anyone used a Pentax AF 140C ring flash on a Pentax K1II camera? Any other ring flash recommendations for this camera?
You might try Pentax forums, they also have a page for used gear, that way you would be targeting Pentax users.
I would have seriously considered your offer. There are good reviews on that Sigma. The Pentax is supposed to arrived today though, so I am hoping for the best there. Thanks for the reply.
I have one that is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. They went on sale in US but while I was thinking it over most of the shops sold out. I was able to grab the last one at Amazon. A big investment but we will see. It may take a while but when I get some test shots I will post.
Do you own or have used this combination?
Hey guys, haven't posted on here in a long time but... I am considering purchasing the Pentax DA 560mm f/5.6 ED HD AW to use on a Pentax K1II full frame. Any experiences on here with this combination, pros, cons etc? If so where did you purchase it? Don't knock me for being a "Pentaxian"! I bought my first 35mm in the 70's and stayed with the system.
Just placed an order for Pentax K-1 Mark II. I am no newbie to Pentax and already have several lenses. Any suggestions to a new comer to full frame though?
Kinda wish someone other than Ricoh owned the name now but I have owned K1000, PZ-1, IST-D, K-20, K-10, K-3, and several lenses. I am trying to save up for a K-1II, Maybe!
I have a Pentax K3 with an FLU card. this can be tethered to a cell phone or computer with full controls but will only work up to 25 to 30 feet. My understanding is that the newer K1 has this capability built in. The K3 cannot be operated in video mode with the flu card though if that might be an issue. I recently worked a hummingbird nest and my batteries would hold up for a couple of hours but my cell and camera had to both be set so they would not turn off or I would loose synch and have to reconnect them again. As far as down loading wirelessly it is pretty slow. I found it better for me to transfer using the card later.
I have a link on my web page that goes to TN landforms. It is detailed and gives a tremendous amount of information. Go to http://www.kentuckyupclose.com/INTERESTING_LINKS.html and then click on TN landforms. If for some reason you can't get this to work let me know and I will try to get the connection for you. Have a great trip!

Also I don't know how much time you have or how far you want to travel but keep Reelfoot Lake on your list!
I understand you not wanting to "plug" for any brand however I am interesting in trying one but would prefer to try the exact thing you seem to have had luck with. thanks
Depth of field sounds really hard but once you see the difference it can make on the same subject things begin to make sense. Here is an example:

I assume you are talking about portfolio? Yes I still use it.
