I use my IIIf about as often as my M6. Gus has my M5 for CLA right now so I’m looking forward to having it back in a few months.

Use a thin one inch dia. metal cutting disk on a Dremel type tool to carefully cut a slot in the head, deep enough to insert a screwdriver.

This method has always worked well for me but it also helps in the most stubborn cases to tap your screwdriver into the slot while attempting to turn it (in the proper direction). If it’s metal to metal don’t forget to use Liquid Wrench and let it soak awhile.

Looks kinda like a sci-fi movie scene where the riders are going to do battle against the alien tower invaders. But at 3:30 am almost anything is possible. 🙂

Your pic pulls everything together. I guess that’s called good composition. The pup’s expression is icing on the cake. Great shot in my humble opinion.

I believe “State of Mind”
is important in these situations. Are you most concerned about making money or disposing of the cameras and gear for your friend? We have had great success with eBay but I had to separate myself from many of the deals to be satisfied with results.

Mice is not a social animal. Although they can be found in groups, they do not actually live together like buffaloes or a school of fish. Having a varied diet means they are partly hunters too and such aggressive behavior can come out negatively if there is not enough challenges or activity in their life.
More so with humans. Although we crave company, those that truly seek large groups are more self-serving and violent than those who likes to be lone wolves. Example, party people v farmers. The farmers are more likely to help another in need than those who are nightclub owls and in case of an altercation, the party people would more tend to gang-up on a fallen while the farmers more likely to break the fight.

We are really not meant to live in a city environment. Not only is this generally unhealthy but it breeds violence and self destruction when there is not much productive activity to do.

Nice shot. Despite the fact I have lived in California since 1972 I still consider myself a Hoosier. We generally try to find those classic hardware stores when we come back to visit. In ‘76 we bought an old time hardware store in a small town along Hwy 101. It had an inventory of left over HVAC, plumbing and electrical contracting supplies - ADH Company. Eventually it became a True Value Hardware store and is now ACE Hardware with a new owner. Times change.

I always enjoy seeing the vintage Larks as I helped build them 1962-1963. I worked in final assembly and light repair - 3rd shift. We got to take finished Larks and Avantis out to the back lot when they were ready for delivery. The red instrument panel lights in the Avanti looked so cool and racy in those dark early morning hours.
