I’m not positive, but I think the band,“Rage Against the Machine” was referring to printers.
I look forward to Jerry’s post every day. I feel as if I have a funny, talented, curious, and kind friend out there. Don’t listen to the haters, Jerry.
The dancing Jesus is just one example of the delight he finds and shares in this screwball world.
Happy Christmas Jerry.
I use them to hang bird feeders.
It’s beautiful bridge and you did it justice.
Hi Jerry- check out The Checklist Manifesto by Atul Gawande. A fabulous book about checklists and the human brain. I always enjoy reading your posts. Your fan in Connecticut, Patricia
Rage Against the Machine did not specify what machine they were furious with but I bet it was a printer.
Still no idea.
What do you call a deer with no eyes, no lehmgs and no balls?
I enjoyed your poems, Don. The last one made me think about the 60s and the social movement for peace. Yet there seemed to be a timelessness quality to the poem saying perhaps it’s an eternal struggle. Thanks for posting.
Maplethorpe photographed men’s junk.
Beautiful. Not easy to get such lovely shots with no people in them.
Ocean City, Md is five miles from the northern tip of Assateague. You were so close. The northern half of Assateague belongs to Maryland and the southern half belongs to Virginia. The ponies in my pics are Virginian ponies.
Assateague Island is is a 30 mile barrier island, off the Virginia/Maryland coast and home to wild ponies, hawks, eagles, fox, deer and many other critters.
A very special place.
Very nice. Has a Georgia O'Keeffe quality.
Thank you for the suggestion, I will follow it!
I have digital Olympus E-520. Six months ago it became stuck in the USB upload screen and I could not get it out. I googled solutions; tried a hard reset, took the battery out for days, etc. So, rather than spend $120+ to send it to the manufacturer, I got a second hand Nikon.
Months went by and finally I dragged out the Olympus camera with the intent of trying to trade it for nikon lenses.
Lo and behold, it had fixed itself.
My fear is that it will happen again.
Does anyone have thoughts about the why, and how to prevent this problem in the future?
