Just before that, I Google'd bokeh images thinking that was how the dog photos were done. Came across at least one, some Monarch-like butterflies on twine, that was definitely layered into one of the dog photos. (see her Flickr site)
It is fun trying to figure out how a photo image has been created. Have filed this one away for future possibilities.
