I was working in London on digital imaging equipment many moons ago, I came across one of my clients with a hasslblad on a tripod, but with a rather large back on it,it was one of the first Kodak digital backs in the country,he said the image quality would allow billboard blow ups with no loss of quality.
I do believe the sensor was some thing like 20 mb, my point is a once Great company Kodak is no more and here we are talking 200mb. Amazing stuff
My vision of paradise .Hasslblad CM 50mm Distagon lens,Corrected viewfinder (metered).
Subject Yosemite,Bryce. Bodie, and other fantastic National Parks,You look thru the lens and its magical.
Pity i cannot afford the Digital Back!!!!
Hi CR
Understand where your coming from, without confusing the issue (i hope).
Have you tried using the AEL button as the focussing action in AF-C.
While this button is pressed you will get continuous focus and the shutter button is just that a shutter trigger.
Another great advantage utilizing the AEL mode,
Example.24mm lens aperture 2.8 focus on brides face, body etc.release AEL button recompose image focus point will stay on bride, press shutter button ,sorted.
Apologies if you are fully conversant with this action, but it might help someone. Dave
I remember seeing American rider Randy Mamola at Donnington Park UK.
Laying his bike over at 100mph waving to the crowd, while SMOKING THE BACK TYRE. INCREDIBLE!!!
At that price PM that would have to be a scam,
HI all
I will describe the recent purchase of a Nikon D7100 plus battery and 2 32 gb 95s SD cards.
This may be a totally different ball game in the USA.
I purchased the above from PANAMOZ a company based in Hong Kong.
Items were shipped and delivered by UPS to my home address in the UK in 5 days tracking all the way,Warranty 3yrs is covered by a Nikon registered repair centre in the UK.
I have used the camera for 7 months now perfect.I have checked the repair center this is a guenuin Nikon Approved centre. The total saving was some £270 .
I checked the reports re previous buyers experiences all positive. To me it was a no brainer, but i appreciate some people are more carefull, maybe worth a look.
Like it Bym,irreverence normally the domain of politicians ,

Hi Look on U Tube dial in Nikon D7100 Battery grip.
There is a interesting review on a particular 3rd party model.
I bought this model,£35 have just shot Tour de France images over 2000 item was faultless.
May not last forever, but will last until Nikon bring out the next model ,which you can bet will require a different grip,i think they call it marketing!
I now live in France, the easy way out if you like,at a party last night there were Swiss,Dutch, a New zealander and some French.
All were of the same opinion Britain is being sold off and no one gives a monkeys toss.
