Liking the style of these. Back in the day (way back) we'd shoot color slide film and project the images onto shower glass. Then take a photo (on film) from the other side of the glass. Long, tricky process.
Sweet. (guess where I'll be sneaking off to some morning before work- hint: the local orchard)
Last year I posted some shots of yellowstone (I think heading was yellowstone 2008) shot entirely with an xti and kit lens.
I have since upgraded. BUT I can tell you even 11 x 16 prints look pretty darn good from that trip.
My upgrade lens-wise -was to the 24-105 f/4 and then added a sigma 20mm f/1.8.
Thanks for looking at the cat tails.
pp'd to give it that eerie muddy '300' look with a slight silhouette too.
I had it in mind when I shot it.
I'm on board with sailorsmom. Too cool.
Like your trademark processing style. Always look forward to seeing your posts
Incredible. Right place, right time.
Thank you Dixiegirl. Macro / close-up is a new venture for me. It's out of my 'comfort zone' so I thought I'd post and see what the Hoggers had to say.
Thanks for taking a look and commenting Linda. I appreciate it.
Bret, thanks for having a look
Sunday morning the first of the lilac flowers opened and attracted their first butterfly a few hours later
Liked the vertical lines created by the stalks
