Maybe think about cloning the bird in the background and there is a reflection in the water by the main birds wing of the trailing bird. It's drawing the eye away from the main subject. Great shot though.
Thanks for the suggestion. If I were to enter competition, I would definitely do more. This is one of my many daily shots. I shoot around 500- 1000 pictures per day and 6 days a week. I spent less than a minute on post.
A small group of Black Skimmer flew in unexpectedly.
I will post it later today.
Here is my skimmer shot from a few days ago.

Thanks, Nalu. I use gimbal on tripod. As you have looked into EXIF data already, I do shoot compressed RAW to make the file smaller. Stabilization is always on. It was a very cloudy day otherwise I would shoot 1/2500 for these fast falcons. Focus mode is Tracking Zone. I have alternate AF and set as Flex Spot Small, and assigned it to a key.
Peregrine falcons having fun in Southern CA sky.
Thanks. I have photographed them in central CA, Arizona and New Mexico in winter. Utah is probably a stop over on their way down south.
Nice set. Are they passing through or stay for winter?
I think you are a wildlife photographer. I used to own the Sigma 150-500, it was ok for sports, but not that good for birds. Especially if the subject is over 100 feet away, I use FF Nikon. I switched to 150-600 S afterwards, what a big difference. I still use it today. If you shoot birds, or BIF and don't want to spend for the big prime, the 150-600S is probably as good as it gets. I also have the Nikon500PF and I do use it a lot, but the IQ is no different than the Sigma.

AMAZING! but are you sure that the hand off was voluntary? Maybe it was theft.
I don't speak their language but this is a normal behavior for White-tailed Kites.
Dad or maybe mom caught a vole and a juvenile flew up to receive it.

These are astounding, incredible, fantastic photographs!!! I think I would retire from BIFs if I could claim these as my own. Is this beautiful lady a falconers or wild? It looks like she has a pigeon in a couple shots.
They are wild with 2 babies in the cliff below.
