I do pretty well in English, but I try to avoid visiting countries where the people speak other languages.

Hmmm... where does that place the Netherlands?

I'd have to recommend the Tokina 100mm f/2.8. Not only is it an excellent true(1:1)macro, it works very well as an all around or portrait lens. I really like the push-pull MF/AF switch as well as the focus limiter switch.

I have the same one (on Nikkon D7000) and agree.

Don't overvalue vibration reduction when shooting macro because your subject usually is doing most vibration so you will need a short exposure anyway.

Lets hope it stays on sale for a while. It makes explaining the price we pay for our $2000 lenses so much easier...

I heard that if you feed them milk with a little olive oil they won't feel so good. Go to their save house. Find a save corner somewere to wait it of and.... crap the place under.

In the end the owner will not have him outside anymore because of the mess it gives when he comes home :D

So, what are you taking picutes of? F15 Fly By's or a tree in a meadow? This will determine your approach.

That's a sensible question. Tripod and remote release won't work on a wedding.

Although I was brought up on Amstel, Grolsch and Karmeliet (Belgian beer) are my personal favorites.

Yes and speaking of beer. Heineken may be the best seller but it is in my opinion the inferior one when it comes to taste.

I live near Amsterdam. Friends of mine live on KNSM-eiland. As you might have guessed eiland means island. In the eavening when the sun sets you have a beautifull view over the water when you are standing on the bridge to the island.

Excuse me for the spelling errors but my iPad is being very creative.

The one in question is a cyclamen bud. It was about 1/2" long. I know the next two are not. :-D

True macro is usually defined as: image on the sensor is equal or bigger than the object itself.

Then the math: object is 1/2" and is half the picture size so total size of the picture is probably about 1" which is smaller than a FX sensor (1.4) and about equal to most DX sensors.

I could not see what kind of camera you use so you have to decide that for yourself.

That is indeed what I was hinting at when I wrote that all extremists are dangerous.

There are plenty of articles. Or just talk to Swedish women. You can Google:

Muslim rape upsurge in Sweden

Yes... and did you look at the sources? Mostly wordpress blogs. If you think the BBC is biased compared to that you have yet a lot to learn. Yet another claim without evidence.

When we look at the numbers the chances on flying saucers seem to be more than 4 times as high.

Muslim rape upsurge in Sweden 956.000 results
flying saucers: 4.520.000 results

Talk to Swedish women? Why? Are they more fun?

Sweden is not far from here. I worked with Swedish women. I never heard they fled the country because of the Muslim problem.

My conclusion is: you are a troll and I stop replying after this.

There is much documentation of the rising rate of Muslim on Non-Muslim rape in Sweden and its neighboring countries. The BBC, notoriously dishonest in matters of Muslims, is not a credible source. Nor is the rising rate of rape in Sweden due to changing norms; it is well-documented as a rise using the same criteria. I suggest YOU do a little research rather than look foolish by trusting the BBC.

Of course your claims would at least have some credibility if it where accompanied by a shred of evidence.
You're nickname doesn't help a lot either.

Do not misunderstand me I think that any extremist point of view is dangerous. It does not really matter if it's religious. Talking about "the Muslims" does little to help. It is a quite large community. Be specific or we could as easily broaden the group by saying men do a lot of raping.

But that would include you and me en we wouldn't want that. Now do we?
